Villa Maria's Marlborough Winery & Wine Tastings opened in March 2000. Located on the corner of Paynters and New Renwick Roads, the facility is as impressive as the surrounding backdrop provided by the famous Wither Hills.
The facility was purpose built to handle the increased tonnage of grapes, namely Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, that Villa Maria source from this premium grape-growing region. The layout is designed to minimise the movement of fruit, juice and wine, so as to maximise quality and efficiency.
The architecturally designed complex complements the surrounding landscape and allows for planned expansion over the next 50 years. The most modern and proven winemaking equipment is installed.
