St Omer House
Sights & Activities - Garden Paradise
Assessed by the NZ Gardens Trust the St Omer House garden is extensive, old original plantings of Rhododrens, roses and native trees grow amidst more recent plantings of shrubs, dahlias and roses. Native ferns abound as do the Nikaus, paths are lined with the Buxus Hedge, which have been established for 80 years or more.
Lawns lead out to the beach where sunbathing and picnicing are a favourite pasttime.
