Mistletoe Bay is a beautiful, former Conservation Campsite on the Queen Charlotte Track. Management of the campsite and foreshore reserve was taken over by the Mistletoe Bay Trust Inc. on June 3 2004. The Trust has the guiding principle that Mistletoe Bay should remain accessible to all. The development of the bay is a wide reaching community project which will see the completion of 4 new double-unit Whare (cabins) each which will have a bathroom, sleeping (up to 6) and living areas. A new communal meeting house adjacent will contain refrigerated storage, together with cooking and dining facilities. Bookings are now being taken for September 2007 and beyond.
