Accommodation - Backpackers
Mistletoe Bay is a beautiful, former Conservation Campsite on the Queen Charlotte Track providing both backpacker and camping accommodation. Management of the campsite and foreshore reserve was taken over by the Mistletoe Bay Trust Inc. on June 3 2004. The Trust has the guiding principle that Mistletoe Bay should remain accessible to all. The development of the bay is a wide reaching community project which will see the completion of 4 new double-unit Whare (cabins) each which will have a bathroom, sleeping (up to 6) and living areas. The present backpacker facility has cooking facilities, shower, toilet, and sleeping accommodation for 7 people. Additional mattresses are available.
