You will experience a delightful warm atmosphere that offers unobtrusive professionalism from waiting staff who take their lead from Dave and Sarah, who, with their food and beverage experience, have established a very high standard of restaurant service. They have created an extensive wine list with over 75 wines to choose from and selections from over 25 Marlborough wineries including a few international wines to appease most expectations.
The hotel Chef is Maree Connolly who has built her reputation as one of Marlborough's finest chefs. A multiple winner of NZ Beef and Lamb Hallmark of Excellence awards, this year Maree won the NZ Beef and Lamb Ambassadors Award. Maree followed this up by winning the best Food and Wine match at this years Marlborough 25th Anniversary Wine and Food festival.
Maree is also coordinating a series of gourmet cooking classes and educational experiences. Ranging from foraging experiences; where the guest will visit the producers in their back yards and collect ingredients to cook back at the Hotel, to preserving classes in the kitchen during the day.
