Conference Amongst Vines - Marlborough Vintners Hotel
Marlborough Vintners Hotel 'MVH' is the new name of the Vintners Retreat at 190 Rapaura Road. New management, fresh vision and a complete re-branding has positioned the Hotel exceptionally well in the small to medium sized conference and meetings market.
Located in the heart of Marlborough's wine growing area, Rapaura Road and surrounded by New Zealand's top Vineyards it is a retreat from city distractions in an environment that allows a total focus on your conference objectives.
Featuring luxurious Hotel suites, an award wining restaurant 'The Vintners Room' with an elegant bar area, the MVH Gallery (Art) and two exceptional conference meeting spaces, Marlborough Vintners Hotel is an ideal location for small to medium sized conferences and meetings where the focus of the experience is on the finer things in life.
The Barrel Room, a former wine cellar, is the main conference venue. Blessed with exceptional acoustics, it has seating capacity for larger numbers with multiple broadband connections and high-end audio/visual facilities. Full broadband network capabilities for up to 32 laptops and similar audio/visual facilities are also available in this room. For banquets, 150 people can be seated and up to 200 for theatre style meetings.
The Boardroom is ideal for smaller meetings of up to 24, with executive leather chairs around our large boardroom table, which also breaks down to smaller tables for workshops.
The team at MVH have thought of everything and understand the importance of delivering a seamless experience from concept to completion. They can even arrange cost efficient transport solutions from the origin of your choice where even the journey to the hotel encompasses some elements of team building or your conference objectives. Creativity and personalising the experience is their speciality.
One of the benefits of hosting your conference at MVH is that you can take advantage of having everyone stay at the same location. Built among the vines and cherry trees and adjacent to The Vintners Room Restaurant and the Conference Centre, the contemporary Hotel suites offer accommodation for up to three individuals or two couples in each of the 16 luxury units. The Hotel can also co-ordinate larger bookings with a select group of 4 & 5-star properties in the immediate vicinity, and can provide complimentary transfers to and from the Hotel ensuring that your additional guests are well looked after.
MVH is especially interested in working with special interest groups such as sporting events or arts seminars and symposiums. They will help organise and coordinate special activities; perhaps a wine tour around Marlborough or a kayaking outing in the Sounds, using the Hotel as a hub for your group's event. They know the area well and work with the best tour operators in the area.
Conference guests have the full services of the Vintners Restaurant available to them, and the chefs can provide a full range of menus to suit any group and budget.
