Timothy Mark was the sculptor-in-residence at Forrest Estate Winery before returning home to America.
He has exhibitions in New York, Chicago, Boston and Massachusetts and has spent time in Norway, Portugal, Australia, Italy and Germany.
His New Zealand sculptures, made fom Takaka marble, Mt Somers limestone and andesite from Taranaki, are organic and tactile forms that beg to be touched.
His recent work draws inspiration from water, a material the polar opposite of stone.
