Wine & Food - Restaurants and Cafes
Lochmara Cafe and Restaurant is set in the Queen Charlotte Sound with expansive views of Lochmara Bay from the restaurant and two outdoor decks.
The cuisine is simple, rustic and full of flavour, using ingredients that we believe will give you a taste of this beautiful environment, the Marlborough Sounds.
We aim to source all products sustainably. Where possible our meat and seafood are wild, organic or local. The fresh produce is sourced locally and seasonally. We also grow salad, herbs and some vegetables and fruit on site at Lochmara Lodge, in our organic garden and orchard.
A cafe menu is available for breakfast and lunch with a fine dining a la carte menu in the evenings. Great coffee and light snacks are available all day.
For something a little special, join our dinner cruise. Departing Picton early evening, cruise to Lochmara and enjoy some time to explore our art galleries before a three course dinner. Stroll through the glow-worm gully before the return cruise to Picton. Bookings essential.
