Picton's Spring Festival, celebrates Marlborough's tow most famous products. Marlborough's international renowned Sauvignon Blanc and Marlborough Sounds' seafood. Live international music, Maori culture and lashings of fresh seafood, the world's best wines, fun and games and the world famous running of the fish realy race. Spring into Picton for a weekend of festival fun!
Marlborough Wine Festival Village

At a venue yet to be disclosed, visitors will be treated to lashings of Marlborough's best wines and food. This is the perfect way to experience all of Marlborough's wines in one beautiful location. Around 50 wineries provide their own staff to serve guests; you can even be served by the winemaker themselves. Seperate wine tutorials are conducted for people keen to learn more. This is a fantastic day, modelled on the Marlborough Wine Festival which is held in February and is the longest running and most successful wine festival in New Zealand.
Marlborough Wine Experience
12th October 2011
Details are still to be finalised for this event but this wll be the grand finale to Marlborough's exclusive wine weekend. The event is based around a gourmet dinner with entertaining interaction between winemakers and guests. The five course menu is matched with library stock from selected wineries. Celebrity guest chefs will design and prepare the menu which will showcase Marlborough food. A guest speaker will also feature. This event will be a must for those passionate about fine wine and food.
